Emails from the universe...

Did you know that the universe talks? Neither did I until my cousin told me and now it emails me every day! But more on this later...

Hi there, As you probably know, in 2019 I decided to enrol in a three year Bachelor Degree. I was at a point in my life and yoga teaching career where I felt I was ready to take things up a notch. Teaching yoga full time is a tough gig. Whilst it provides a lot of freedom, if you're only teaching public classes, you have to teach A LOT to make it financially viable. I thought about my different options...open a yoga studio, start running teacher trainings, start another business, do some part time account management work and so on, but something just wasn't landing. What I did know, is that I really wanted to help people in a meaningful way. When I stumbled across the idea of psychotherapy, it felt right. I have always been fascinated by the human condition, the mind, the body and everything in between. It felt like the perfect progression of my yoga practice. Yet, it still wasn't an easy decision. My mind was flooded with doubts around things like: - falling behind in life - being on a student wage so late into my 20's and still being at uni in my 30's - taking on a relatively large student debt - being the only one of my friends at uni - not being able to teach as much yoga - having to put my other business ideas on hold - delaying starting a family and just general comparison to others. I know you can relate, it happens to us all. Luckily, I was able to overcome all of these doubts. Through time and practice, I reminded myself that life is not a race. And it's certainly not a competition. I trusted that what I had to gain was far more than what I had to loose. So, I enrolled in the course and three weeks in, we went into lock down. Two years of lockdowns later and I am already in my final year (can you believe it!?) The universe had my back. I believe that when you make a decision and really commit to that decision, you will be supported. But of course, I still suffer from insecurities and moments of doubt. Which is why the universe sent me this reminder, right at the perfect time... "Some people bloom late. Some very late. And some, very, very, super late. But, Zoe, they all bloom. And the longer it takes, the more spectacular it is. Quite the deal, huh? The Universe" So, I thought I was take this opportunity to ask you, how is your life tracking? Are you on the path to your fullest potential? If not, what is holding you back? We only get one life. What would happen if you stopped comparing yourself to others or living out of fear, but deeply and fully committed to taking action. To do that thing that you've always wanted to do. You should absolutely do the thing. Don't take my word for it, hear it from The Universe. Love Zo x Ps. If this is resonating, you should come to Sri Lanka. It will be the perfect container to explore all of these ideas. You deserve to take some time off to re-evaluate things. It's going to be pretty special.
