Saturday 5th Feb 2022

It's no secret that life is chaotic. Between lockdowns, family stress, the pressures of work, it's easy to forget how pleasurable life can be. On top of all of this we are expected to show up, look relaxed and to make 'healthy choices' which can leave us feeling even more deprived. Here at Zoga, we believe the healthiest choices are the ones that leave us feeling physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually nourished. This retreat is about bringing you back to life's pleasures. First moving the body, quietening the mind and then filling the belly with the yummiest food and drink.

The Retreat

This single day experience will take place in Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula, just a short 1hr drive from Melbourne. Begin the day with a two hour yoga practice at the Zoga Yoga Shala. Zoe will guide you through a complete practice including breath work, a long and slow nourishing flow, mantra and meditation. The music will be incredible and you are likely to levitate out the door. We will then take a short 3 minute drive to Rare Hare where we will enjoy a three course meal paired with delicious local wines (or non alcoholic options). From here, you're welcome to overlook the vines for a little longer, book yourself an overnight local stay or head on your way.

Detailed Schedule

11:30am Arrival to Zoga Yoga Balnarring for tea and bliss balls.

12pm-2:00pm 2hr Complete Practice (will be keeping things gentle and the sweat levels low)

Rare Hare

Rare Hare is a communal style restaurant with room for 90 tails, boasts indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the vine-laced hills and across to Jackalope Hotel’s striking silhouette. A hand-crafted wood-fired oven takes pride of place in the dining space. The Executive Chef crafts seasonal dishes highlighting the finest produce with a good sense of curiosity and brings a tempting balance of heat, acidity, depth of flavour and texture to each plate.
