Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the shala?
The studio is located at the front of Zoe's home in Halsey Street, Balnarring. Enter through the pedestrian gate, walk down the path, first entrance on the left. You can't miss it.
Is there parking nearby?
Halsey Street is a quiet residential street with plenty of parking. We just ask that you be mindful of not intruding on the neighbour's driveways or lawns.
Is there a toilet on-site?
As the only available toilet is inside Zoe's home, we kindly ask that you do your best to use the bathroom before you arrive.
Of course, we have a toilet available for emergencies.
Do I need to book my class in advance?
Yes, we always recommend booking in advance given the limited capacity of the room (9 mats). Jump onto the website and secure your spot.
What is the cancellation policy if I can no longer attend my class?
Please cancel your class at least 4 hours in advance. Get in touch with us via email () and we can postpone your class pass for another date. Cancellations outside of this window will not be refunded.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
You're welcome to bring your own mat. We have yoga mats available for use, however, they are quite thin. If you have sensitive knees we strongly recommend bringing your own mat with a little more thickness.
Am I able to practice if I am pregnant?
If you have been practicing regular yoga prior to your pregnancy and you have clearance from your doctor then you are able to practice. We may ask for confirmation from your doctor in some instances.
Is the studio COVID safe?
Yes, we are constantly checking to adjust and align with government recommendations and regulations.
How early can I arrive for my class?
No earlier than 15 minutes and no later than 5 minutes.
Do I need to have previous experience to practise yoga?
No, we welcome all levels of experience. If you're feeling a little unsure, we recommend starting with a slow flow class.
